Before Pinturas Tepuy, Valentina worked as a Global Market Associate for four years at Nomura Securities in New York, a leading Japanese financial services group. At Nomura, she gained experience in structured credit and derivatives transactions across the Latin American region. Valentina holds a dual degree with honors from George Washington University (GWU) in Finance and International Affairs, with a concentration in Latin America. While at college, she was actively involved in Latin American politics and sports. She held board member seats in several undergraduate political organizations and was president and captain of GWU’s Polo Club. Luisana is currently part of the transactional team at iitos, a boutique alternative services firm focused on venture capital and startups in Latin America.
