Pía Rivas Lozada
Pia is an Analyst at Carao Ventures and is part of the investment team, where she is fully involved in tasks related to assessing new opportunities, as well as portfolio administration and support.
Before joining Carao Ventures, Pia was an Analyst at Salkantay Ventures, a Peruvian early-stage VC fund, where she evaluated startups, participated in investments across the portfolio, worked on fund operations, and managed relationships with founders and LPs. Prior to that, she worked as an Analyst at B Venture Capital, a Japanese-Latin American early-stage fund, where she led the Web3 investment process.
Beyond investing, Pia is the co-creator and host of Dentro del Bloque, a technology education podcast produced at La Parlante and previously aired on RPP, Peru's leading radio and television network. She has also taught in the Blockchain Program at UPAL and co-founded Ayllu Sonqo, a non-profit dedicated to fighting childhood anemia and supporting families across Peru.
Pia holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Universidad del Pacífico and a Master's degree in Crypto, Blockchain and Entrepreneurial Applications from Three Points and the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya in Spain.
